Work Health Index: Use of Information and Our Responsibilities
By completing this form on behalf of your employer, you authorise CBI to use the information you provide in the population of the Work Health Index.
How will we use the information you provide?
We will use the information you provide to assess and rate how businesses are approaching health and wellbeing within sectors, size, region and revenue similarly applicable to your business. This information will be aggregated and anonymised to create the Work Health Index. We will keep the information you provide, to the extent it is not in the public domain, confidential. We will share it securely and on an anonymised basis with trusted partners (including Business for Health, HM Government and NHS England) only. Your information will not be shared with other businesses.
How can you access the Work Health Index?
On completion of the Work Health Index you will be provided a link to access the Work Health Index that will show you how your business rates on its approach to health and wellbeing on an anonymous basis to other businesses within similar sectors, sizes, regions and revenues.. It is therefore key that you provide clear, accurate and true information when completing this form as if you fail to do so it will undermine the Work Health Index. If we have reasonable grounds for concern about the data you submit then we will contact you, and we reserve the right to exclude your data from the Work Health Index.
We anticipate that the Work Health Index will provide a useful insight into the different approaches businesses take and their relative position. The results and insight provided are recommended to be used for internal purposes only. However, although that information should provide insight, it should not be relied upon, and you should consider if you need specific advice from an appropriate professional. Therefore we shall not have any liability to you or any person using the Work Health Index.
Your responsibility to comply with the law
The Work Health Index will not assess your or other participating business compliance with the law. It is important that your business assess and makes sure that it is in compliance with its legal responsibilities. You should not use the Work Health Index as a way of checking your legal compliance. We have no liability to your business for its compliance with the law.
No personal data
No personal data will be processed or shared in the creation or administration of the Work Health Index, except for your name, email address and job title, which will be dissociated from the Work Health Index, and be used for contact purposes only in line with our privacy policy, which can be found here: https://www.cbi.org.uk/legal/privacy-policy/
